Many ASI member countries are in need of a better education system for their Sommeliers who are just starting or thinking of starting their career. Currently, the ASI Diploma exam is not suitable for those members as it is pitched at too high a level. For this reason, the ASI Certification Exams Committee (CEC) has agreed with the ASI board to offer two additional levels of certification to cater for those aspiring Sommeliers – The ASI Certification 1 and the ASI Certification 2.
Participation in the exam is free and only members of the association can participate.
The date of the next ASI Certification 1 exam is June 19 2023. If you want to take part in the exam, register as soon as possible or at the latest by 29 May 2023 and choose the language of the exam: English, French or Spanish.
