About The Finnish Sommelier Association
The Finnish Sommelier Association is a national, non-profit restaurant industry association that organizes and supports the education of Finnish sommeliers and wine professionals and promotes responsible drinking, hospitality, wine industry and wine culture in Finland.
The association is an official ASI Association de la Sommellerie Internationale member.
It organizes sommelier competitions, educational events and tastings for professionals, as well as wine events, trips and tastings for supporting members.
The association has a growing number of members. Today, it has around 300 members and over 50 partners and is open to anyone interested in wine.
The President of the Finnish Sommelier Association is Heidi Mäkinen MW, and the Vice President is Christina Suominen.
