Prüm – this name is inseparably linked to viticulture, especially in the Middle Moselle region. The first records of the Prüm family date back to documents from 1156, which demonstrate that the Prüm family owned vineyards.
Raimund Prüm, also known as “the red Prüm”, took over the winery from his early deceased father in 1971 and expanded it into a top winery with an international reputation: “We stand for wines that show their origin in the glass and that continues to do so for years. Our Rieslings mature in our dark and cool vaulted cellar in old wooden barrels or in modern stainless steel. We give them plenty of time for maturation, because our wines are meant for the future.”

The S.A. Prüm winery has existed for generations, and the name S.A. Prüm has also been passed down through centuries. Since 2017, Saskia A. Prüm has been leading the winery as the first female winery owner.
