LA RIOJA ALTA -MASTERCLASS 

La Rioja Alta -masterclass järjestetään samanaikaisesti Best Sommelier of the Nordics 2023 -kilpailun kanssa.

La Rioja Alta on yksi Espanjan vanhimmista viinitiloista. Sen perusti viisi perhettä vuonna 1890 nimellä Sociedad Vinícola de la Rioja Alta.

Nyt viinitalo omistaa neljä viinitilaa: alkuperäisen, yksinkertaisesti nimeltään La Rioja Alta, sekä Torre de Oñan single vineyard -tilan Riojassa, ja kaksi muuta viinitilaa: Lagar de Cervera Rias Baixasissa Galiciassa Atlantin rannikolla ja Bodegas Aster Ribera del Dueron viinialueella Riojasta lounaaseen.

La Rioja Alta masterclass will be organized concurrently with The Best Sommelier of The Nordics 2023 competition.

La Rioja Alta is one of the oldest wineries in Spain. It was founded by five families in 1890 as Sociedad Vinícola de la Rioja Alta.

Now the winery owns four wineries: the original, simply called La Rioja Alta, as well as Torre de Oña, a single vineyard property in Rioja, and two other wineries: Lagar de Cervera in Rias Baixas on the Atlantic coast of Galicia and Bodegas Aster in Ribera del Duero, a wine region to the southwest of Rioja.
